See? I warned you guys about my interest in dragon ball didn't I? But i've been watching the show for as long as i remember, probably as long as Pokemon. This is the very first drawing of her, better versions are shown later.

You must be wondering other DB fans: She's obviously a saiyan, so why doesn't she have a saiyan name?

About that, she's a hybrid cross of Human and saiyan. Her story takes place 150 years after Goku left to train with Shenron. King Kai recently announced that he made a grave mistake, and it turns out that there are at least 100 saiyans that are pure blooded left in existance. Hikari's father's one of them.

You know how Goku's name means "Sabre of light?" The name "Hikari" means "light" in Japanese, and i randomly picked that name. When i looked it up, i couldn't help but laugh.
